I was born 10.November 1959 in Cannes (France).

At the Age of 13 1/2 i become a Shipavight (Boat Carpenter) with my Father.

I was a stwewrd in 7 different yachts almost all in the port and in the marina on the mediteranee. I also worked in a black pearl farm in the Tuamoukou Archipel as a diver, crossed the Pacific ocean 3 time in a sailboat. Deck hand and mother ship gone fishing on the Great Barrier Reef. Butler for a Royal famiy of Saudi Arabic in Cannes, Monte Carlo, Porto Cervo and Ibiza. Manager Rum in  an Australia's Pub named The Royal Hotel Bondi , located in Sydney.

I traveled all over the World with my Trade (US-Tahiti-Australia-New Zeeland-New Caledonia-Vanuatu-Hawai-Fidgi-Tualu-Marquisa-Spain-Italy etc...)

I have a daugther in USA, she is 23 years old and her name is Kalei Jessica, a son in Australia, he is 28, his name is Alexander and here in Costa Rica my youngets son Isaak with 7 years old.

My name is Gil Marcel and I am autodidact.

I hope I made the best and had esposition of wood sculpt, wood furniture and metal spulpting.

Then in the last 2 years "on and off" between my job  and may art I had tryed to find what I was and why I keep trying to do.

The things that I allways enjoy more are my art and then may job.

Three years ago I was very sick, when I got better I was with my girlfriend and she had some paint, then I decided to try to, cause I had a lot of time free to myself,I thought is better paint that do nothing. Well, I hope that you enjoy my art as much as I do doing it.
